In February 2015 the WAMGROUP® of Modena Italy purchased Enviro-Care Company and its official corporate name became WAM® North America, Inc. dba Enviro-Care Company. During that four-year period, the successful growth of WAM’s screening and solids/grit management products worldwide prompted the WAMGROUP® to establish a water and wastewater division. The new name of this division is SAVECO which is a combination of SAVI® and SPECO®, WAM’s two major equipment manufacturers. “Giving the water and wasterwater division their own identity was very smart.” stated Phil Thompson, President of SAVECO North America, Inc. dba Enviro-Care Company. “While WAM spared no expense supporting their water and wastewater technology, internally, there was no differentiation from WAM’s bulk solids handling business.” “You can’t build a brand if it does not have a name and WAM was already taken and in a very different industry.” stated Michael Grass, Corporate Public Relations Manager, WAMGROUP®. “We are excited about the prospects of growing the SAVECO water and wastewater brand worldwide.”
