MultiRake Bar Screen

HUR - Traditional Heavy-Duty Coarse or Fine Bar Screen

HUR αß - Multi-Angle Heavy-Duty Coarse or Fine Bar Screen

The traditional single angle design of the FSM MultiRake bar screen is engineered for strength and durability.  Most often this screen is used as the first stage in two or three stage screening applications.   The FSM Bar Screen captures the large debris in order to protect more sensitive downstream pre-treatment equipment.

A single MultiRake screen can be 20 feet wide and 80 feet long with mounting angles from 50° to 90°.  This is a heavy duty bar screen for heavy duty jobs.

Another version of the FSM MultiRake screen is the Multi-Angle design.  The bar field sits in the channel at a 30° angle and extends to a 85° degree dead plate.  This creates a larger screening area in the channel with a smaller footprint.  The FSM MultiRake αβ design utilizes the same rake design as the standard unit.

Did You Know?

Designed to allows grit to pass through the screen to the downstream grit removal equipment without malfunctioning.
Easily adapts to changing operating conditions.
Fully enclosed and suitable for indoor/outdoor installations.
The Multi-Rake A/B improves hydraulics by lowering the flow speed through the screen.
Headloss is reduced and capture is improved.
