Job Description: Field Service Engineer |
Job Overview
This position requires both mechanical and electrical knowledge/aptitude as well as approximately 75% travel throughout the United States and Canada. There are four main components to the position:

Equipment startup responsibilities that would include inspecting the contractor’s installation, verifying sequence of operation and certifying the equipment operational and approved for service. This may require repairs and adjustment and definitely basic knowledge of control logic. |
| 2 |
Training customers on the proper operation and maintenance of the equipment. |
| 3 |
Troubleshooting equipment problems in the field and resolving those problems. |
| 4 |
Rebuilding of equipment in the field. |
Job Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and electrical schematics. |

Technical degree or equivalent experience – minimum 5 years. |
| • |
Experience with wastewater screens a plus or similar mechanical equipment. |

Self-motivated and ability to work independently. |
| • |
Strong communications skills both written and oral. |
| • |
Detailed and organized. |
| • |
Valid driver’s license, good driving record and able to rent a vehicle. |
