U. S. Headworks Company Acquired by Italian Multi-National |
Rockford Illinois, February 24, 2015. Enviro-Care Company of Rockford Illinois has been acquired by the WAMGROUP® headquartered in Modena, Italy. WAM is a multi-national company that first entered the conveying market in1969. WAM quickly expanded into all facets of bulk solids handling equipment and today is the recognized leader in this important industrial application with thousands of installations worldwide. Because of their conveying expertise, WAM’s conveyors found their way into many water and wastewater projects over the years. In 2013, WAMGROUP’s growing interest in the environmental sector led to the purchase of SAVI S.r.l located in Mantua, Italy. Several years ago, SAVI selected Enviro-Care as their sales and engineering partner to introduce their headworks equipment into the North American market. In 2012, the Enviro-Care / SAVI partnership became even closer with a technology transfer agreement that allowed Enviro-Care to manufacture SAVI equipment in the U.S.A.
